Mixed Media Artist
Chris creates in many formats but is best known for his mixed media artworks on dollar bills – his love for creating money art lead to the co-creation of a book ‘for the love of money art’.
He doesn't stick to one style or medium, he loves to vary what he does as much as possible, creating new and exciting artworks as he moves along the conveyor belt of life always experimenting. His style has evolved a lot, from very detailed work to his finely tuned use of stencil and imperfections, drips, splashes and random marks. It can change when he wants to try something new, some times it stays, some times it goes. Like with life - things can change at a drop of a hat. His mixed techniques bring together various avatars from the street, as well as references to the cinema, comics and pop icons, in a world shifted and humorous. His work was recently on display in the Saatchi gallery, London in one of the first money art shows they curated, which sold out incredibly quickly, he was also selected to participate in The ING Discerning Eye 2020 exhibition.
