Urban Digital Painter
London-based digital painter MZG uses portraits as a medium to express hope and desire. Her work has been featured on the BBC news, in articles across Europe, as well as in major galleries in London.
As a quiet and introverted child, art became a tool for her to spread a bit of joy and wonder in the lives of the people closest to her. She developed her creativity studying architecture, travelling around Southeast Asia, and working with children from diverse and interesting backgrounds.
Her work is heavily inspired by tribal culture, fashion and editorial photography. Working digitally allows her to deeply experiment with artistic mediums in a very playful way, balancing between complexity and simplicity, positive and negative spaces, as well as abstract and realism. Creating harmony between two opposing sides manifests its own sense of beauty.
Even though we live in a chaotic world, MZG believes art can be used to uplift our souls and surround spaces, in a profoundly unique way.
