Graffiti / Tattoo / Illustrator
Ever since Ozer was a child, he always wanted to make comics. he started doing graffiti in 1988, at the age of fourteen, Graffiti led him to attend a graphic design school. After studing he became a tattoo artist producing stunning tattoos. His current style is a mixture of all these influences. But, the main influence is still his love for comics.
He was born and raised in Paris and also traveled a lot throughout Europe. He states 'I don't think my travelling has affected my work, more curiosity, I'm interested in everything, especially the things I'm not capable of doing. It really fascinates me and influences my vision for my work.'
Ozer is heavily influenced by Comics, Graffiti, Japanese Tattooing and Sci-fi. He draws more in the traditional way with tools such as alcohol markers. He really likes to draw on paper, and states 'it's a great medium. Even though, I sometimes have to work on computer.' Everything interests him, typography, painting, photography etc. Everything that can feed his brain, his graphic and artistic culture.
He doesn't pretend that his art could be important. He goes on to say 'Society needs cultural art, otherwise we would all become zombies in front of our television and commercials, we need to consume something that makes us feel good, music, cinema, art in general.' Ozer finds it hard to do nothing, he draws a lot and wants to improve, to take other paths, to test things... It seems to him that his process of art is endless.
