Since 2015, he has garnered attention for his album artwork in the music industry, earning recognition from leading companies within the field including Warner Music Group, Sony Music and JOAT Records. Working primarily from his iPad and utilising digital mediums, HAM has leveraged technology to collaborate with internationally recognised brands throughout his career, providing unique visuals for various product launches and client events. Drawing inspiration from street art and popular culture, HAM's biggest artistic influences include pioneers in the hip-hop and urban art scenes. One of his proudest ventures is his collaboration with the Royal Opera House; together, they developed a virtual reality trap opera prototype known as "Munkination". Merging both his beat-making and afro-futuristic illustration abilities, HAM constructed the project around themes of humanity and climate change. "Munkination" has received recognition for its prowess and pioneering nature, including the Immersive Opera Award in 2019, Creative XR and an invitation to showcase at SXSW2020.
Motivated by a passion for storytelling and a desire to connect with audiences on a deeper level, HAM's illustrations of hip-hop icons and culture homages have earned him widespread recognition. His creative process is driven by a relentless pursuit of reflecting societal narratives and cultural heritage. Through his art, he aims to inspire change, challenge norms, and pave the way for a brighter future. His dedication to pushing creative boundaries and incorporating purpose-driven storytelling sets him apart as a leader in the future of Britain’s digital landscape.
