Sugar high by Birdy is part of the ‘Bitter Sweet’ collection, Guache paint and pencil on a dollar note created in 2022.

The collection is a play on traditional sweets, portraying them in a different light. I made the ‘Love hearts, bitter sweet’ piece a while ago for the ‘Playing cards’ series and always thought there was scope for more.
